Think of the potential employer as a friend across from you over a cup of coffee. Let him or her know who you are, what you have done, what you can do and how you’ll be a real asset to the company. Put all this info in your cover letter. Feel free to mention some detail that will set you apart. Are you good at negotiations, can you train people, do you like organizing meetings?
